We've just had a great 2 hours in Amanda's pottery class. She explained and demonstrated everything really clearly so that we new exactly what to do on the potters wheel, and helped us when needed. We're both thrilled with the pots we've made and look forward to painting them later. Thank you.

First time for the 3 of us. 2, 50 year olds and a 16 year old. Get your apron to protect your clothes but still can get messy. Amanda explain how to made the first pot while we watch and then we did it ourselves. Always there to help with hands on or just giving tips. Hour on the wheel then hour making your own creation.

My best friend and I spent the morning painting beautiful teacups.
I would definitely recommend coming here and will be back again soon. The set up, paint colours, the demonstration at the beginning, little cafe were all delightful! Thank you to Molly who was extremely pleasant and made our time there today really extra special.

My friend and I went to Social Pottery and we had such a lovely experience. We were welcomed by Molly who looked after us throughout our time there. She explained everything to us and made us feel so comfortable. There is a little Café in the studio which was a great bonus. I would definitely go again, such a fun, therapeutic experience!! Thank you Social Pottery ❤️

I booked 3 places for my partner and grandchildren. The prices seemed reasonable on the web site for entry and although there was mention of 'firing and collection, no prices were evident. My partner continues the review...Place was clean, staff friendly but unless you take out a mortgage items to paint, they are a fortune. £35 for a simple dinner plate £22 for a dessert plate. Most inexpensive object costs £15. Your £5 deposit comes off the price of item but you get nothing else for it. They say they give you a demo but alas this was sadly lacking. I brought my (have travelled many countries so are really with it) 9 and 13 year old Granddaughters and they were bored to tears and could only afford the above mentioned items. There's a Cafe but it is very expensive, cup of coffee £4. I would never go back and I would never recommend this business as a place to take children for a fun few hours. Upon signing up for a place no where does it tell you that you will have to leave one of the children to pay for said sitting or rob a bank on the way. After leaving we popped into Frosts in WS only to find they have Lilly Pot pottery class. My recommendation is to stop by Holly Lobby and purchase a painting kit for a few quid you get the paint etc and you won't feel like you spent a fortune for nothing.

I spent a fabulous few hours at the introduction to poetry class on Saturday afternoon. The knowledgeable and friendly team guided us through the process of using a potter’s wheel.
I threw three pots after which we were introduced to hand modelling with clay where I made a highland cow.
I would highly recommend Social Pottery and I will be back!😉

What a fantastic experience with Anca and Tracy. I would definitely recommend both classes (wheel throwing and hand crafted pottery). I absolutely loved it. Both ladies were patient, experienced, and explained each stage step by step. Thank you so much we had a blast

Amazing experience, we absolutely loved making our pots. Tracey was so helpful & spoke through every step efficiently. We will 100% be back and recommend this activity to everyone!

Had a great time this afternoon making pots! Our first time on the wheel, Tracey was a very attentive teacher. We threw 3 pots each, with varying success, but both very happy with the experience. We're now looking forward to seeing the fired pieces, and perhaps to decorate them ourselves!!
A lovely afternoon for the family. Highly recommended.

Had the most wonderful experience with Tracey during the Introductory Pottery: Wheel Taster Class. It was my first time ever working with a pottery wheel and she took the time to explain the methods and help when things went slightly askew.
Booked with my bestie as a night out and I cannot say enough good things about it! The group size (4) was perfect.
Excited to see my piece after firing and cant wait to go back and try it again!
